Working with Older People (WWOP)
Journal Descriptions
Working with Older People (WWOP) considers the fact that people are living longer and the opportunities that this presents for older people, their families, communities and the economy. WWOP provides a forum for researchers, service providers and service users to share experiences and ideas, showcase new approaches, explore difficulties and dilemmas, and suggest solutions, with the overall goal of enabling older people to enjoy a full and active life and to value the contribution that older people make to family life and communities. Working with Older People has a unique practical focus and gives examples of how research or services are making health, well-being and social inclusion a reality for older people. The journal is full of practical, positive, evidence-based examples of how international research and policy can be translated into practice and to making life better for older people.
