Tampa Review (TR)
Journal Descriptions
Founded as University of Tampa Poetry Review in 1964, Tampa Review is Florida’s oldest continuously published literary journal. Our name was officially changed to Tampa Review in 1987 when we expanded our contents from poetry to include the current mix. Today the journal is published in print twice a year by the University of Tampa Press. Tampa Review Online began publishing literary and visual art on the Web in June 2012. It was originally designed and edited by graduate students in the MFA in Creative Writing program. In 2014 the online and print versions were more closely linked under a single staff and came together on the Web as part of Project MUSE Commons. There it remained until 2017, when Tampa Review Online moved to a permanent home on our blog at TampaReview.org. Here you will find all of the work published by TROnline during its first two years and by Tampa Review Online during the MUSE Commons period and beyond.
