Journal Descriptions
Founded in 2000, Syntax & Semantics aims to promote the study of the relationship between the structuring and interpretation of linguistic objects, both diachronically and synchronically, in French and in other languages. It welcomes studies in French or English in a spirit of theoretical openness and dialogue. All proposals are evaluated anonymously by two members of the scientific committee. Other specialists may be called upon when specialized questions are involved. The journal is continued by a collection published by Presses universitaires de Caen, the "Bibliothèque de Syntaxe & Sémantique". This collection is open to proposals for conference proceedings or monographs.
