The Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine is a medical journal focused on HIV and/or AIDS treatment, prevention and related topics relevant to clinical and public health practice. The purpose of the journal is to disseminate original research results and to support high-level learning related to HIV Medicine. It publishes original research articles, editorials, case reports/case series, reviews of state-of-the-art clinical practice, and correspondence. The journal publishes a wide range of scholarly content, including original research articles, clinical reviews, case reports, editorials, and correspondence. It emphasizes evidence-based medicine and supports high-level learning for clinicians, researchers, and public health professionals. The scope includes epidemiology, antiretroviral therapy, co-infections such as tuberculosis, behavioral health aspects, and healthcare policy. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scientific quality and ethical standards. As an open access journal, it promotes free and global access to research findings.
