It covers different areas like public health, epidemiology, clinical, paraclinical, health system and policy, biology, biochemical, pharmacology, pharmacopia and traditional medicine. It covers a broad range of disciplines including clinical medicine, biomedical sciences, epidemiology, pharmacology, laboratory sciences, traditional medicine, and health policy. The journal emphasizes research that contributes to improving healthcare delivery, disease prevention strategies, and evidence-based health interventions in African contexts. Published under the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique et Technologique (CNRST) in Burkina Faso, the journal plays an important role in strengthening scientific communication within francophone Africa.
