The Romanian Journal of Geography (Revue Roumaine de Géographie) is a peer-reviewed international academic journal dedicated to advancing geographical research and promoting interdisciplinary studies related to natural and human environments. Published by the Publishing House of the Romanian Academy, the journal serves as an important platform for researchers from Romania and around the world to present original scientific contributions in physical geography, human geography, regional development, environmental studies, and geospatial analysis. The journal encourages research that addresses contemporary geographical challenges, including climate change, sustainable development, urbanization, regional planning, land-use dynamics, natural hazards, environmental management, GIS and remote sensing applications, population geography, and socio-economic transformation. Particular emphasis is placed on studies concerning Romania, Central and South-Eastern Europe, the Danube Basin, and the Black Sea region while welcoming comparative international research. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure scientific quality and originality. The journal publishes articles primarily in English and is indexed in several international databases, increasing its global visibility.
