Revue d'économie financière (REF)
Journal Descriptions
Founded in 1987, the Revue d'économie financière (REF) publishes four issues per year. Its objectives are: - to be an instrument of dialogue between academics, researchers, and professionals in finance and banking, - to contribute to stimulating the discussion and reflection essential to the cohesion of the financial and banking profession. The REF covers all topics relating to financial economics in the broad sense: banking economics, corporate finance, market finance, financial history, monetary policy, international finance, etc. REF issues are composed of one or more thematic dossiers and a "Miscellaneous Articles" section. The thematic dossiers are produced under the direction of two pilots chosen by the editorial board for their expertise on the subject under discussion. The pilots design the content of the thematic dossier, contact the authors, and supervise the scientific quality of the published articles. The "Miscellaneous Articles" section is composed of unsolicited articles accepted for publication. They must correspond to the journal's editorial line and meet commonly accepted scientific requirements. They are subject to a double-blind refereeing process. The reviewers are designated by the journal's editorial staff based on the topics covered. The editorial staff ensures that submissions are processed as quickly as possible and informs authors of the progress of the procedure. The world of finance is now largely internationalized. This is why the Revue d'économie financière is particularly committed to addressing international themes and encouraging the increasing participation of foreign authors. Similarly, as soon as the theme lends itself to it, it publishes an English version.
