The Maritime R&D&I Journal is an open (OA) peer-reviewed (double-blind) journal published annually by the International Maritime University of Panama (UMIP), specializing in the areas of science and engineering. Objective: The Maritime R&D&I Journal aims to: To disseminate scientific and technological research work in the maritime, port, and environmental sectors at national and international levels to promote research, development, and innovation. Author Profile The journal will receive scientific contributions from teachers, researchers, undergraduate and postgraduate university students with the guidance of a tutor professor, and professionals from public (autonomous and semi-autonomous) and/or private entities, whether national or international. Scope The I+D+i Marítima journal publishes the notes, advances and results of research (qualitative and quantitative) that are of interest to the maritime, port and environmental sectors and contribute to national and international science.
