Journal Descriptions
Revista de Educación y Derecho (Education and Law Review) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the Faculty of Law of the Universitat de Barcelona. Established in 2019, it is the first Spanish-language journal specifically devoted to the intersection of education and law. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for the publication of original research articles, review papers, educational experiences, and scholarly essays addressing legal education, higher education policy, comparative education law, and innovative teaching methodologies in legal studies. It aims to foster dialogue among academics, legal professionals, policymakers, and educators by promoting research on curriculum development, educational innovation, university governance, internationalization of higher education, legal ethics, digital learning, and the implementation of the European Higher Education Area (Bologna Process). All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure scientific quality and originality. The journal follows a Diamond Open Access model, allowing free access for readers without article processing charges for authors. It is indexed in major databases including Scopus, DOAJ, ESCI (Web of Science), Latindex, and other international indexing services, increasing the visibility and impact of its published research.
