Journal Descriptions

Research in Otolaryngology is an international peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to publishing research in the field of otolaryngology and head-and-neck medicine. Otolaryngology, commonly known as ear, nose, and throat (ENT) medicine, focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders affecting the ear, nasal passages, sinuses, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. The journal provides a scholarly platform for clinicians, surgeons, and biomedical researchers to share advances in clinical practice, experimental research, and diagnostic technologies related to ENT medicine. It publishes original research articles, review papers, clinical studies, and case reports that contribute to improved understanding of diseases affecting hearing, balance, voice, airway function, and swallowing. Research topics covered by the journal include hearing disorders, vestibular diseases, sinus and nasal conditions, throat infections, head and neck cancers, and surgical techniques used in otolaryngology. The journal also encourages interdisciplinary research integrating medical imaging, audiology, speech therapy, and biomedical engineering.
