Research in Neuroscience (RN)
Journal Descriptions
Research in Neuroscience is a peer-reviewed journal aims to advance our understanding of the nervous system in health and disease, thereby improving the diagnosis and treatment of neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders. It presents novel results that can be of interest to a broad spectrum of neuroscientists and that were generated by experiments guided by clearly defined aims or hypotheses.Research in Neuroscience serves as an international, peer‑reviewed forum for high‑quality scientific research across the breadth of neuroscience. The journal welcomes submissions that enhance understanding of neural structure and function, neural development, signal processing, cognitive and behavioral neural mechanisms, neuroplasticity, neurological disease processes, and translational research bridging laboratory findings to clinical applications. Its scope encompasses basic molecular and cellular neuroscience, systems and behavioral neuroscience, computational approaches, and neuropharmacology, among others. By fostering rigorous peer review and dissemination of robust research findings, Research in Neuroscience aims to advance knowledge and promote interdisciplinary collaboration across different areas of neural science. The journal is designed to serve neuroscientists, clinicians, and academics by facilitating dissemination of innovative methodologies, significant discoveries, and conceptual progress in the field.
