Research in Cell Biology (RCB)
Journal Descriptions
Research in Cell Biology is an international peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum of experimental cell investigation, publishes reviews, original articles and short communications on the structure, function and macromolecular organization of cells and cell components. Contributions addressing cell biological problems in prokaryotes and plants are welcome. The journal covers a broad range of topics including cell structure and organization, cell signaling pathways, cellular metabolism, molecular genetics, and cell cycle regulation. It also publishes research related to stem cell biology, developmental biology, cell differentiation, and cellular responses to environmental and physiological conditions. Studies involving modern laboratory techniques such as microscopy, molecular analysis, and biochemical methods are also within the journal’s scope. Research in Cell Biology encourages interdisciplinary research that integrates cell biology with biotechnology, biomedical science, genetics, and molecular medicine. The journal aims to advance the understanding of cellular mechanisms and their roles in biological systems and human health.
