Rehabilitation Oncology (RO)

Rehabilitation Oncology publishes evidence to further the science and practice of rehabilitation, with the purpose of addressing impairments to improve functional outcomes for individuals with cancer and other chronic diseases across the survivorship continuum. The journal addresses impairments in body functions, activity limitations, and participation restrictions associated with cancer, cancer treatments, and chronic disease. As the primary journal publishing broadly on the foundational science and clinical practice within cancer rehabilitation, the journal strives to fulfill its vision to provide a premier forum for scientific and professional exchange among researchers and practitioners throughout the world. Research studies, clinical practice guidelines, and meta-analyses receive the highest priority for publication, but systematic reviews, scoping reviews, trial protocols, and perspective papers are considered for publication based on the significance of contribution to clinical practice. Case reports will be considered for publication if they present either a unique case presentation or a novel method of management of the individual with cancer or a chronic disease.
