Journal Descriptions

In a world undergoing rapid and complex upheaval, the global field is becoming decisive, posing in renewed terms the question of the articulation of the national and the international. The global, far from being a secondary external factor, only making negligible corrections to local problems, appears as an omnipresent internal reality shaping the lives of States, societies and individuals. Nations and peoples are caught in the turmoil of globalization and resist it in singular forms. A need is emerging, aimed at prolonging this resistance by researching and promoting new international alternatives based on solidarity and democracy. Serving as a benchmark in the plural confrontation of ideas, better shedding light on the major trends, the issues of the international scene and the forces that structure it, as well as the struggles and solidarities that are formed there, revealing the underlying social antagonisms, such is the ambition of International Research . Inspired by Marxism, a Marxism free from any school and open to debate and controversy, the journal supports the activities of the association "Espace(s) Marx" and the Gabriel Péri Foundation, of which it is a partner. It ensures regular collaborations with the French and international press.
