Prosthetics and Orthotics International is the official journal of the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO). Prosthetics and Orthotics International is a peer-reviewed international, multidisciplinary journal for all professionals who have an interest in the medical, clinical, rehabilitation, technical, educational and research aspects of prosthetics (artificial limbs), orthotics (braces) and rehabilitation engineering, as well as their related topics. Our readership includes prosthetists, orthotists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation medicine physicians, kinesiologists, engineers, rehabilitation technicians, researchers, and educators. Authors interested in submitting articles to are encouraged to peruse articles published in past issues to assess whether their submission would align with the journal’s readership. Prosthetics and Orthotics International is one of the major international scientific publications in the field of prosthetics and orthotics. It is an international, multidisciplinary journal for professionals who have an interest in the medical, clinical, rehabilitation, technical, educational and research aspects of prosthetics, orthotics and rehabilitation engineering, as well as their related topics. The journal is free of charge to ISPO members. Published six times a year by Wolters Kluwer, Prosthetics and Orthotics International contains original research reports, qualitative research reports, review articles, technical notes, clinical notes, case reports, and editorials. Special issues on specific themes of interest to the journal's readership or content related to the ISPO World Congress are also published.
