Scope includes: Techniques pertinent to clarification, isolation, enrichment, and purification of biotech products Products in areas of human therapeutics, biofuels, plant biotechnology, animal biotechnology, food processing, and environmental biotechnology Unit operations including fermentation/ cell culture, centrifugation, depth filtration, homogenization, chromatography, ultrafiltration, diafiltration, refolding, viral filtration, viral inactivation, sterile filtration, extraction, two phase separation, precipitation, osmotic shock, and lyophilization Industrial applications involving preparative processing Priority will be given to novel results that are likely to have major impact on the respective research area.
