Postscriptum Polonistyczne is an international peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to Polish studies and related disciplines. Established in 2021 by scholars affiliated with the School of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Silesia in Katowice, the journal provides a forum for researchers from Poland and abroad interested in the study of Polish language, literature, culture, and language teaching. The journal continues the tradition of the earlier periodical Postscriptum and has developed into an important platform for international scholarly dialogue in Polish studies. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and scholarly discussions concerning contemporary and historical aspects of Polish language and literature. It also welcomes contributions on cultural anthropology, film studies, theatre studies, intercultural communication, and the international reception of Polish culture. A distinctive feature of the journal is its strong focus on teaching Polish as a foreign language and on issues related to Polish studies conducted outside Poland. The publication follows a rigorous peer-review process and is available in open-access format, ensuring broad dissemination of research results. Through its interdisciplinary approach, Postscriptum Polonistyczne contributes significantly to the development of Polish studies and cultural scholarship at the international level.
