Established in 1979, the journal is published by the Institute of Experimental Botany of the Czech Academy of Sciences and serves as a leading platform for the dissemination of advances in photosynthesis research. It publishes original research articles, brief communications, review articles, and reports that explore the biochemical, biophysical, molecular, physiological, ecological, and environmental aspects of photosynthesis.
