Pharmakeftiki is an international peer reviewed journal dedicated to pharmaceutical sciences and related disciplines. Founded in 2008 by the Hellenic Society of Medicinal Chemistry, the journal has evolved into an independent scientific publication that serves researchers, pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, clinicians, and healthcare professionals. Since 2012, it has been available both in print and online as an open access journal. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, short communications, and special issue contributions covering a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences. Areas of interest include medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmaceutical technology, nanotechnology, nanomedicine, drug delivery systems, computational drug design, artificial intelligence applications in pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, toxicology, pharmacy practice, public health, and the environmental impact of pharmaceuticals. Articles undergo blind peer review and may be published in either English or Greek, with Greek manuscripts requiring an extended English abstract. The journal also provides a platform for young researchers, graduate students, and doctoral candidates to disseminate their findings. Special issues frequently feature proceedings from scientific conferences and emerging topics in pharmaceutical research. The journal is indexed in major databases including Scopus, EMBASE, Chemical Abstracts, EBSCO, and Cabells Journalytics.
