Oxford Open Materials Science is an Open Access journal that publishes high-impact, novel research and reviews across the spectrum of the materials sciences and materials engineering, encompassing theoretical/computational modelling, characteristic studies, synthesis, design and applications. The journal aims to seek answers to significant questions and challenges that are of real importance for not only the scientific community but for humanity. While Oxford Open Materials Science covers the entirety of materials science, and does not limit any topic of interest in this wide discipline, several areas of contemporary interest are encouraged, listed as follows: advanced materials of various functionalities including nanostructured materials and materials in different forms low dimensional and quantum materials artificial intelligence in materials science computational materials science and materials genome bio and soft matter including materials for health care materials for energy and water sustainability materials for next generation devices
