Oil & Gas Science and Technology (OGST) was an international peer reviewed scientific journal dedicated to research and technological developments in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Published by IFP Energies nouvelles, one of Europe's leading energy research organizations, the journal served as a major platform for disseminating advances in petroleum science, chemical engineering, energy technologies, and sustainable energy systems. The journal published original research articles, review papers, thematic issues, and technical studies covering the entire hydrocarbon value chain. Topics included petroleum exploration and production, reservoir characterization, drilling engineering, enhanced oil recovery, refining processes, petrochemicals, natural gas technologies, energy economics, and environmental management. In its later years, the journal increasingly focused on renewable energy, carbon capture, sustainable development, and the energy transition. OGST was recognized internationally and indexed in major scientific databases. Articles were published in English and French, enabling broad dissemination of research findings to both academic and industrial audiences.
