The Malawi Journal of Science and Technology (MJST), the research journal of the Faculty of Science, Chancellor College in Malawi is published once or twice in a year depending upon availability of manuscripts and financial support. It includes contributions on empirical or theoretical investigations that cover the full range of science and technology, particularly those relevant to Malawi. Full length papers and short communications (500- 800 words) on original research, as well as succinct review articles, will be considered for publication.Its primary aim is to promote scientific inquiry and innovation by providing researchers, academics, and practitioners with a medium to share findings that contribute to national development and technological advancement. The journal encourages interdisciplinary studies that address real world challenges such as food security, sustainable development, public health, and industrial growth. With a strong connection to academic institutions in Malawi, the journal emphasizes locally relevant research while maintaining international scholarly standards. Articles published in the journal undergo peer review to ensure quality, originality, and academic integrity. The Malawi Journal of Science and Technology plays a key role in strengthening research capacity in the region and fostering collaboration among scientists, policymakers, and development stakeholders.
