Founded in 1935 (formerly known as Service Social dans le Monde), Les Politiques Sociales is a scientific, international and multidisciplinary journal. Each issue takes a transnational perspective on a theme relating to 'social policies and intervention strategies', from a theoretical, practical or empirical angle. It includes studies on action and social change, analyses of practices, research findings in the field of well-being, an ethics column, methodological reflections, reviews of recent books, etc. The magazine is aimed at practitioners, social and health workers, socio-cultural organizers, development agents, educators and trainers of young adults, researchers and teachers in the social sciences, decision-makers, institutional managers, local and national elected representatives, ... any player in the social field, any reader concerned by social issues, the debates they give rise to, the pragmatic and political responses they generate...
