With eight issues a year, the choice of subjects is as varied as ever, explained with hindsight, argumentation and pedagogy. Times change, current events evolve and the issues are transformed, but the objective remains the same: to reflect on and open up democratic debate. Even today, Revue nouvelle works harder than ever to develop these values, proving its vitality and committed acuity, its desire for renewal and the independence of its thinking. Since 1945, La Revue nouvelle has occupied a special place in the Belgian publishing landscape, as a place where researchers, experts and committed citizens express themselves with exceptional freedom of tone, keen to participate in democratic debate. Since its creation, La Revue nouvelle has published over 600 issues. Some of its analyses have made milestones and helped establish its reputation: decolonization, the school war, feminism, social security, immigration, ethical issues, ecology... The fields covered include social, political (national and international), economic, cultural and literary, artistic and religious life. The initial intention remains and is more important than ever: to promote the debate of ideas and multidimensional reflection on today's world.
