The Journal of the American Nutrition Association publishes original and innovative research in nutrition science with useful applications for researchers, physicians, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals. JANA seeks emphasis on discoveries that help to individualize or personalize nutrition science. Critical reviews are accepted on topics pertinent to nutrition that highlight key teaching points and relevance. The journal also accepts letters to the editors and commentaries on important issues in the field of nutrition. JANA also accepts abstract clusters on nutritional topics with editorial comments, book reviews, and abstracts from the annual meeting of the American Nutrition Association in the October issue. The journal operates a single-anonymized peer review policy.
