The Journal of Renewable Energies (Revue des Energies Renouvelables) is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the Renewable Energy Development Center (CDER). The journal was founded in 1998 to promote research and dissemination of knowledge on renewable energy. Two regular issues are published in June and November each year and special conference issues may be published upon request.The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics including solar photovoltaic systems, solar thermal technologies, wind energy, geothermal resources, biomass, and hydrogen energy. It also emphasizes interdisciplinary research involving thermodynamics, electrical engineering, materials science, environmental studies, and energy policy. Special attention is given to energy efficiency, energy storage, modeling and simulation, and environmental impacts of energy systems. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and conference special issues, maintaining a rigorous peer review process to ensure scientific quality and relevance. It supports open access dissemination, enhancing visibility and accessibility of research globally. With contributions from international researchers, the journal plays a significant role in promoting sustainable energy solutions and addressing global energy challenges, particularly in developing regions.
