Journal of Quality and Reliability Engineering was an international peer reviewed open access journal focused on the development and application of engineering principles, statistical methods, and analytical techniques in quality assurance and reliability engineering. The journal published original research articles, review papers, and industrial case studies covering reliability analysis, quality control, maintenance engineering, risk assessment, industrial statistics, system safety, and performance optimization. The journal aimed to bridge theoretical research and practical engineering applications across manufacturing, electronics, mechanical systems, software reliability, and industrial operations. It encouraged interdisciplinary studies involving probabilistic modeling, reliability testing, process improvement, statistical quality control, and operational risk management. The journal followed a fully electronic submission and peer review system to support rapid dissemination of research findings. It operated under an open access publishing model, allowing unrestricted access to published articles. According to ISSN and indexing records, the journal coverage mainly extended from 2013 onward and was associated with Hindawi Publishing Corporation.
