Journal of Mathematics and Informatics (JMI) is an open access, peer reviewed and refereed journal devoted to publication of original research articles as well as review articles, with emphasis on mathematical foundations of Information Science and the applications. The journal will address work at the theory of mathematics in information science, and will provide an interactive platform for mathematical researchers and scientists with diverse backgrounds in fields such as engineering, statistics, economy, and computer sciences. The journal is designed to serve researchers, developers, managers, strategic planners, graduate students and others interested in mathematics and information science. Mathematical foundations of information science, such as, approximate reasoning; decision making; multi-valued logic; image processing; data mining; rough set theory; automata theory; fuzzy set theory; information management and application; artificial intelligence; neural network; numerical computation; machine learning, etc.
