Journal of International Mobility (JIM)

The Journal of International Mobility, Moving for Education, Training and Research, a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal, brings together scientific contributions relating to the various dimensions of international mobility of people in the context of education and training in Europe and worldwide, in the sectors of school education, vocational education and training, higher education and adult education. The Journal of international mobility Launched in October 2013, the Journal of International Mobility (JIM) is one of the few journals dedicated to issues related to international education and training mobility in Europe and around the world. Its expertise covers the fields of school education, vocational education and training, higher education, and adult education. The journal is characterized by three dimensions: a scientific, multidisciplinary, and multilingual approach. The journal, which is published annually, relies on the expertise of a scientific committee that identifies and defines the issues addressed in the thematic dossiers. Its members ensure the double-blind evaluation of contribution proposals. Contributions from international experts in the social sciences, educational sciences, sociology, history, geography, language teaching, and economics, among others, provide unique insights into the themes raised by academic, internship, training, and professional mobility. The JIM thus contributes to the dissemination of knowledge and analyses, using a multi-focus approach to the issues, conditions, and impacts of mobility, in order to inform the thinking of researchers and policymakers who are committed to supporting it. The journal is published by the Erasmus+ France / Education Training Agency in partnership with Presses Universitaires de France. Articles are available in Open Access on the Cairn.Info platform .
