Journal of Intercollegiate Sport (JIS) is an international peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal devoted exclusively to research on sport within college and university settings. Established in 2008, the journal serves as a leading forum for interdisciplinary research examining the complex issues surrounding intercollegiate athletics. It publishes original research articles, theoretical analyses, policy studies, and practitioner-oriented contributions from the social sciences, humanities, professional fields, and sport sciences.
