Journal of Information and Organizational Sciences (JIOS) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal established in 2006 by the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb, Croatia. The journal publishes high-quality original scientific papers, review articles, and related contributions in the fields of information science, information systems, organizational studies, and associated disciplines. It is one of the longest-running journals in its field in Central and Eastern Europe. JIOS aims to advance research by integrating technical, organizational, and information-oriented perspectives. The journal covers topics such as information systems, business informatics, organizational science, digital transformation, knowledge management, data analytics, decision support systems, information technology management, artificial intelligence applications, and communication systems. It encourages interdisciplinary research that explores the interaction between information technologies and organizational processes. The journal follows a rigorous double-anonymous peer-review process and adheres to international publication ethics standards, including COPE guidelines. It operates under a fully open-access model, providing free access to readers and charging no publication fees to authors. Articles are published continuously online and grouped into two regular issues annually.
