The Journal of Gerontology began publication in 1946. From 1988 the journal became the Journals of Gerontology which contained four parts. In 1995 the Journals of Gerontology was split into two separate publications (which each contain two parts): the Journals of Gerontology Series A: Biological Sciences and Medical Sciences and the Journals of Gerontology Series B: Psychological Sciences and Social Sciences. This website contains the Journal of Gerontology and Journals of Gerontology content, 1946-1994. Another GSA publication, The Gerontologist began publication in 1961.
