The Journal of Automobile Engineering is the leading international journal serving the multidisciplinary automotive industry. Contributions are welcome on all aspects of vehicle engineering, including components, and on other closely related subjects. The Journal of Automobile Engineering is the leading peer-reviewed international Journal serving the multidisciplinary automotive industry. The Journal reflects the continual development and changing needs of this diverse community by means of guidance from an international Editorial Board and with the benefit of association with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). The Journal provides a forum for those involved in research, design, development, manufacture, operation, servicing and repair of cars, commercial vehicles, public service vehicles, off-highway vehicles and industrial and agricultural tractors throughout the world. The scope includes auxiliary equipment systems, components and complete vehicles for automotive transportation. Topics include: Vehicles and components; engines and fuels; structures, mechanisms, lubrication and wear; dynamics and primary safety; control and information systems, vision and lighting; environmental impact of vehicles; operation, reliability, durability, servicing and repair; economics, legislation and management; comfort, refinement and secondary safety; manufacturing technology and systems; electronics and traffic information systems, supply chain development.
