Journal of Applied Linguistics and Language Learning (E‑ISSN 2471‑741X; P‑ISSN 2471‑7401) is a peer‑reviewed open access journal established in 2015 and published by Scientific & Academic Publishing (SAP) in the United States. It issues quarterly publications covering a wide spectrum of topics in applied linguistics and language education. The journal’s scope encompasses research in applied linguistics theory and practice, language teaching and learning methodologies, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, language assessment, discourse analysis, and sociocultural dimensions of language education. It also addresses specialized areas such as communicative language teaching, task‑based language teaching, English language teacher training, policy and planning, media and language, and second language acquisition. Edited by Chan Swee Heng, the journal aims to offer a platform for researchers and educators to disseminate studies that bridge linguistic theory and practical applications in language learning contexts. Contributors from around the world submit empirical studies, literature reviews, and theoretical papers that advance understanding and innovation in language pedagogy and linguistic research.
