Journal for Foreign Languages (Vestnik za tuje jezike) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Established in 2019, the journal serves as an international forum for scholars, researchers, and educators working in the fields of linguistics, literature, foreign language teaching, and applied language studies. The journal is one of the few Slovenian scholarly publications that publishes articles in foreign languages and promotes research on both language and literature from an international perspective. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and scholarly contributions focusing on linguistics, literary studies, language acquisition, multilingualism, intercultural communication, translation studies, and foreign language pedagogy. A distinctive feature of the journal is its emphasis on language teaching methodology related to foreign languages taught in Slovenia as well as Slovene as a foreign language.
