JLIS.it, an Italian journal of Library Science, Archival Science and Information Science, is an academic, open access and peer reviewed journal whose aim is to contribute to the international and Italian debate on the main research issues in the field of archival science, library science and information science. The journal is addressed both to authoritative scholars of the different fields and to young researchers who develop original paths of investigation. JLIS.it has a a dia-chronic approach oriented towards the organisation and management of recorded knowledge; it privileges the most innovative topics and is open to contributions on methodology and history of the individual disciplines, especially encouraging interdisciplinary and international comparison.
