Investigational Medicinal Chemistry and pharmacology is an open access, peer-reviewed journal that considers articles in all aspect of chemistry and biological activity of natural and synthetic products. The journal welcomes submissions from all fields of medicinal chemistry including chemistry of natural products, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, clinical chemistry. It also considers manuscript in all aspects of experimental and clinical pharmacology including clinical trials.The journal covers a wide range of topics including drug design and synthesis, structure–activity relationships, analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, and clinical chemistry. It also emphasizes experimental and clinical pharmacology, including pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and clinical trials. Special attention is given to studies involving natural products, phytochemicals, and bioactive compounds, as well as research aimed at understanding molecular mechanisms of drug action. The journal encourages interdisciplinary research that bridges chemistry, biology, and medicine to support drug discovery and therapeutic development.
