International Journal of Biomedical Imaging is an open access journal aimed at promoting research and development of biomedical imaging by publishing high-quality research articles and reviews in this rapidly growing interdisciplinary field. The last quarter century has witnessed major advancements that have brought biomedical imaging to a paramount status in life sciences. As a prominent example, the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) was established in 2000 as the newest institute in the National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA. Generally speaking, the scope of biomedical imaging covers data acquisition, image reconstruction, and image analysis, involving theories, methods, systems, and applications. While tomographic and post-processing techniques become increasingly sophisticated, traditional and emerging modalities play more and more critical roles in anatomical, functional, cellular, and molecular imaging. The overall goal of the International Journal of Biomedical Imaging is to promote research and development of biomedical imaging by publishing high-quality research articles and reviews in this rapidly growing interdisciplinary field. Digital radiography and tomosynthesis X-ray computed tomography (CT) Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) Single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) Positron emission tomography (PET) Ultrasound imaging Diffuse optical tomography, coherence, fluorescence, bioluminescence tomography, impedance tomography Neutron imaging for biomedical applications Magnetic and optical spectroscopy, and optical biopsy Optical, electron, scanning tunneling/atomic force microscopy

Start Your Free Journal!Scholar9.com is a peer-review platform that hosts journals from across the globe. Please note that we do not own any of the journals hosted on the platform.
Our platform enables journal owners to send articles for peer review to users who have registered via https://scholar9.com/register and have consented to serve as reviewers for multiple journals. Additionally, we offer an indirect manuscript submission system for journals that are claimed and actively managed by their respective owners on Scholar9.com.
For accurate information about the indexing status of journals (in databases such as UGC CARE, Scopus, or Web of Science) and contact details, users must refer to the respective official websites.
Scholar9 is not responsible for indexing claims, manuscript acceptance/rejection, refunds of article processing charges, or any stage of the final publication process. Users are strongly advised to verify all information provided on the platform independently.
