IE is back by popular demand as a popular online insect quarterly journal. The first issue of Insect Environment was published in 1996. The journal is indexed on CABI’s CAB Abstracts database and Zoobank. The sole objective of Insect Environment is to popularize Insect study through popular, semi technical research notes and essays on all aspects of insects. The journal is published quarterly, in March, June, September and December. The sole objective of Insect Environment is to popularize insect study through popular/ semi-technical but scientifically authentic research notes and essays on all aspects of insects and arthropods like mites, spiders, ticks, etc. We also publish profiles of achievers, book reviews, seminar/webinar reports, tributes (obituary), history of entomology, insect art, museum reports, faunistic studies, etc.· This journal is unique in that it encourages articles and photographs (see Insect Lens in our web site) from students to amateurs to professionals.· The journal is peer-reviewed by relevant subject experts in the field, whose recommendations are final.· All authors are expected to send only original drafts, avoiding copying, with proper attributions in case of review or quoting.· IE is fast and focuses on new records (be it species, hosts, geographical spread, etc), peculiar natural history/behavior, opinions for better conservation, ideas for research, etc.· IE will be sent free by mail to anyone requesting.· We encourage free downloads for education and non-commercial purposes.· We accept only English articles.
