The Indian Journal of Psychiatry (IJP) is the official peer-reviewed scientific journal of the Indian Psychiatric Society and is one of the most prestigious psychiatry journals in India. Established in 1949, it originally began as the Indian Journal of Neurology and Psychiatry and adopted its current title in 1958. The journal is published by Medknow Publications under Wolters Kluwer and follows an open-access model, allowing free global access to its content.
