Haramaya Law Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the College of Law at Haramaya University, Ethiopia. It serves as a platform for legal scholars, researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students to publish original research articles, case analyses, commentaries, and field-based legal studies. The journal focuses on a wide range of legal disciplines including constitutional law, human rights, international law, criminal justice, administrative law, environmental law, and regional legal frameworks such as African Union law. It aims to contribute to legal scholarship by promoting critical analysis of domestic and international legal systems and addressing contemporary legal challenges affecting Ethiopia, Africa, and the global community. The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and relevance. It is published annually and provides open access to its content, supporting the free exchange of legal knowledge and research findings. Since its establishment in 2012, the Haramaya Law Review has played an important role in strengthening legal research culture in Ethiopian higher education institutions.
