Geochemical Perspectives (GP)

Geochemical Perspectives is an internationally peer-reviewed open access journal that publishes invited contributions from leading scientists in the field of geochemistry. Each issue of Geochemical Perspectives features a single, in-depth article that explores the past, present, and future of a geochemical field – presented in a clear, accessible way by respected members of our community. The articles bring together important scientific discoveries in these areas with the human and, often, the technological stories behind their development, offering insights directly from leading scientists who contributed to shaping and advancing the field. Geochemical Perspectives articles are designed to resonate with the entire geochemical community. Although revolving around the core of the science of the field in question, they offer expert, personal viewpoints on how a research area has evolved, where the field stands today, and where it may be headed next. The overarching goal of Geochemical Perspectives articles is to commit to paper for future generations the history of the field of geochemistry.
