GE – Portuguese Journal of Gastroenterology is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal published by Karger Publishers on behalf of the Portuguese Society of Gastroenterology (Sociedade Portuguesa de Gastrenterologia). Founded in 2014, the journal serves as the official publication of the Portuguese Society of Gastroenterology, the Portuguese Society of Digestive Endoscopy, and the Portuguese Association for the Study of the Liver. It publishes high-quality clinical and basic research that advances knowledge in gastroenterology, hepatology, digestive endoscopy, and related disciplines.
