Journal Descriptions

The monthly magazine Bundesgesundheitsblatt – Health Research – Health Protection covers all issues and areas that public health and state health policy are concerned with. The aim is, on the one hand, to keep up to date with important developments in basic biological and medical research and, on the other hand, to provide information on specific measures for health protection, concepts for prevention, risk prevention and health promotion. Important subject areas are the epidemiology of communicable diseases, environmental health protection and health economic, medical ethical and legal issues. A section – Announcements/Official Notices – at the end of each issue contains official announcements from the publishing institutes.
