Eurasip Journal on Applied Signal Processing (EJASP)
Journal Descriptions
EURASIP Journal on Applied Signal Processing was a leading peer reviewed international journal dedicated to the theory, design, implementation, and application of signal processing technologies. Established in 2001 by the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP), the journal provided a platform for researchers, engineers, and scientists to publish innovative work in both fundamental and applied aspects of signal processing. The journal covered a broad range of topics including digital signal processing, image and video processing, speech and audio analysis, wireless communications, pattern recognition, machine learning, computer vision, radar and sonar systems, biomedical signal processing, remote sensing, robotics, and multimedia applications. It emphasized both theoretical advances and practical implementations relevant to industry and academia. A notable feature of the journal was its rapid publication model and strong international editorial board, which attracted contributions from researchers worldwide. The journal was indexed in major scientific databases and became a recognized publication venue in electrical engineering and information technology. In 2007, it was renamed EURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, reflecting an expanded scope and continued focus on emerging signal processing technologies. The successor journal remains an important open-access publication in the field today.
