Erbil Dental Journal (EDJ) is an international, peer reviewed, open access scientific journal published by the College of Dentistry, Hawler Medical University, Erbil, Iraq. Established in 2022, the journal provides a platform for the publication of high quality research in dentistry, oral medicine, and related biomedical sciences. It publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, review articles, clinical investigations, case reports, brief communications, and letters to the editor that contribute to evidence based dental practice. The journal follows a rigorous double blind peer review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, ethical integrity, and clinical relevance. EDJ welcomes submissions from Iraqi, regional, and international researchers covering both basic sciences and clinical investigations related to the oral cavity, teeth, craniofacial structures, and head and neck region. The journal is published twice each year in both print and online formats and is indexed in several international databases, including Scopus, DOAJ, Crossref, WHO IMEMR, OpenAlex, and other scholarly indexing services. By promoting freely accessible scientific knowledge, Erbil Dental Journal supports collaboration among researchers, clinicians, educators, and students while advancing innovation, evidence based dentistry, and improvements in oral healthcare worldwide.
