Egyptian Liver Journal is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access medical journal dedicated to advancing research in hepatology and liver-related diseases. Established in 2011, the journal serves as a leading platform for clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals interested in the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and scientific understanding of liver disorders. The journal is officially affiliated with the Society of Friends of Liver Patients in the Arab World and the National Liver Institute of Menoufia University, Egypt. It publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and clinical studies addressing a wide range of topics related to liver health and disease. The scope includes hepatobiliary surgery, pediatric hepatology, clinical pathology, virology, microbiology, epidemiology, and histopathology, as well as basic and translational research conducted in both human and experimental models. The journal follows a rigorous single-blind peer-review process and operates under a full open-access model, ensuring that published research is freely accessible worldwide.
