The journal is officially affiliated with the Society of Friends of Liver Patients in the Arab World and the National Liver Institute of Menoufia University, Egypt. The scope includes hepatobiliary surgery, pediatric hepatology, clinical pathology, virology, microbiology, epidemiology, and histopathology, as well as basic and translational research conducted in both human and experimental models.
