Earth Sciences History (ESH)

Earth Sciences History is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the historical development of the earth sciences. Established in 1982, the journal is published by the History of Earth Sciences Society in partnership with the University of Chicago Press. The journal provides an international platform for scholars who study the historical evolution of geological sciences and related disciplines. The journal publishes two issues per year and includes scholarly articles, research notes, book reviews, and historical analyses that examine the development of scientific ideas, institutions, and individuals associated with earth science research.
