Current Forestry Reports (CFR)
Journal Descriptions
This journal provides in-depth review articles contributed by international experts on the most significant developments in the field of forestry. By providing clear, insightful, balanced contributions the journal intends to highlight and summarize key topics that are of major importance to researchers and managers of forestry resources. We accomplish this aim by appointing international authorities to serve as Section Editors in key subject areas across the field, such as physiological processes, tree genetics, forest management, remote sensing and wood structure and function. Section Editors, in turn, select topics for which leading experts contribute comprehensive review articles that emphasize new developments and recently published papers of major importance. An international Editorial Board reviews the annual table of contents, suggests articles of special interest to their country/region, and ensures that topics are current and include emerging research.
