Contemporary French Civilization (CFC), a journal devoted to all aspects of civilization and cultural studies in France and the Francophone world, has been published by Liverpool University Press since 2011, publishing 4 issues a year since 2016*. CFC continues to provide an informative and stimulating interdisciplinary forum for scholars wishing to share their knowledge and insights with a broad, diversified audience. The journal publishes articles, essays, and notes; book reviews of the latest works of interest; and information on the arts and a variety of aspects of French and Francophone cultures. Material may appear in either French or English. *From 2024, the print element of this journal will be published as one volume once the final issue of the year is published.
